Responsibilities Prepare and cook fried foods and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and food prep stations safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper waste disposal Assist with food handling, portioning, and plating to ensure consistent presentation and quality Support food production during high-volume periods by following recipe adherence and meal preparation guidelines Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools promptly to keep the workspace organized and hygienic Follow all food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; dietary aide or culinary experience is a plus Knowledge of food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and food safety sanitizing procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling standards required for high-volume production environments Experience with menu planning or catering is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to recipe guidelines Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment This role is an excellent stepping stone for those looking to expand their culinary expertise while contributing to a lively team. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
