Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and hospitality, with opportunities to grow within the culinary field. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support the kitchen staff during peak hours by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use. Adhere to health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during service times. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with bussing, cleaning, cooking, and food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
