Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-time Utility Steward/Dishwasher at Guilford College located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Must be available to work mornings, nights, and weekends.

Pay rate:

$14 per hour What you will do: Set up and operate the dish machine for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans: scrape, separate, and organize items Note and record dish-machine temperatures, reporting low temperatures or machine malfunctions immediately Transport related supplies and assist in the setup of dining and serving areas Clean cafeteria and serving areas throughout and after the meal period, and replenish to ensure service without interruption Set up and use a three-compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria areas, including sweeping, mopping floors, and removal of trash Assist with the receiving and storage of food products and food preparation, following correct food handling procedures to ensure food safety Perform all duties in accordance with food safety and sanitation best practices Other duties, as assigned What you need: Ability to measure products and convert units of measure Awareness of commercial kitchen equipment and how to perform routine maintenance and cleaning Reliability and a willingness to work in a hot, humid environment Time management, dependability, safety focus, and great communication skills What you will get: Competitive Pay, Uniforms, Meals, and Benefits (Health, Dental & Vision) Meriwether Godsey offers significant opportunities for growth and career advancement.
