Position Summary:

Symphony Park, a prestigious Independent Living Resort, is looking for a diligent and dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, supporting our commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences in our resort's restaurants. Essential Job Functions:

Operate dishwashing machines and ensure dishes, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and sanitized properly. Hand-wash items as needed, including pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks and countertops. Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recycling. Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety standards, including proper storage of cleaning supplies. Support the kitchen with various tasks not specific to dishwashing responsibilities. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed. Work collaboratively with other Food and Beverage employees to ensure smooth operations. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, and annual training. Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.

Experience Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a dishwashing role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting. on-the-job training will be provided. Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Good physical condition and stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
