Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Nestled just north of Charlotte, Huntersville, NC offers a blend of charming suburban vibes and vibrant local culture, making it an outstanding destination for travel healthcare professionals. This assignment situates you in the heart of North Carolina's scenic Lake Norman region—a place to enjoy lakeside adventures, outdoor recreation, and a flourishing culinary scene during your downtime. This travel position challenges you to broaden your expertise by floating between facilities within your assigned region, exposing you to varying patient populations and leadership methodologies. Expand your resume while supporting cardiac and stroke patients using top-tier technology, including Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps, with access to 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapy support.
Schedule:
Every other weekend rotation No call requirements Must work 75% of holidays 6-week schedule cycles Up to 6 days approved time off (excluding holidays), with the possibility to add time to your contract if neededDesired Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 months Med/Tele RN experience Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Strong Med/Tele skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube and drain management Proficient with cardiac drip management, blood products, and supporting initial cardiac work-ups Flexibility to float throughout regional facilities as assignedPrimary Duties:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for cardiac telemetry patients: CHF, pulmonary edema, arrhythmias, and post-stroke Administer and monitor cardiac drips, conduct thorough assessments, and document using Epic EMR Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including hospitalists, CNAs, and respiratory therapists Maintain care standards with RN ratios typically 1:5-6 (critical surge 1:7-8)Outstanding Benefits:
