Overview This position is for Tuesday-Sunday with either Wednesday/Thursday off. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas to maintain a tidy environment. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking and food preparation techniques. Experience in banquet settings or catering services is a plus. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. A background in hospitality or culinary arts can enhance your application but is not mandatory.
