• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using appropriate methods.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Ensure that all dishware is organized and stored properly after cleaning.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash as needed.
• Support food handling processes by following safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for food service.
• Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management promptly. Qualifications
• Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on helping others succeed in their roles.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
