Job Description

Hours:
7 hours - Every other weekend 12:30 - 7:30 Does require some holidays. Job Overview The Dishwasher/Cleaner Performs routine duties in the preparation and service of food for the residents according to established policies and procedures. Duties Sweeps and mops kitchen floor, including the dish room floor. Washes and sanitizes pots and pans, including putting them away. Cleans the employee dining room; refills napkins and condiments and maintains a clean dining room. Puts soup in bowls for residents. Checks and refills the starter station cart. Assembles food trays for residents. Cleaning sinks. Clean utility carts and clean shelves. Washes floor mats. Sweeps both walk-in and freezer floors. Mop walk-in floor. All other duties assigned by supervisor. Performs daily cleaning assignments. Checks to make sure all equipment is off and fridges/freezers are closed and locked. Skills Must be able to operate mixer, food processor, food carts, coffee machine, toaster, pellet and plate warmers, garbage disposal, dish machine, as well as be able to acquire the necessary knowledge to safely operate steam tables, ovens, stoves, meat slicer, deep fryer and steamers. Qualifications Must have the mental development and maturity normally obtain through the completion of two (2) years of high school. Ability to read, write in English and follow oral directions. Good moral character, good physical condition, high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene. Willingness to cooperate with supervisor, fellow employees and department heads.
Pay:
$16.39 - $17.91 per hour
