Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our restaurant operations, particularly during busy service periods such as banquets and catering events. If you have a passion for food and hospitality, this role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during peak hours. Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are properly stored after cleaning. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Help with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of cleaning supplies or kitchen tools. Skills Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in a culinary environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen. Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus but not required. Familiarity with restaurant operations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
