Overview:

Join our team as a Dishwasher & Food Preparation Worker and be a part of our dynamic culinary environment. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about food and eager to contribute to a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Duties:

• cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all small wares and equipment. (plates, storage containers, 3 bay sink, dish machine, utensils)
• organizing and maintaining the sanitation area. (floors, under shelves, racks etc.)
• proper use and storage of chemicals and cleaning agents
• nightly sweeping and mopping of the kitchen wall to wall.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
• Follow recipes and assist in cooking basic dishes under the supervision of a chef or cook.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas.
• Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hospitality, hotel, or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic food service principles.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
