Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Organize and store clean dishes in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support other kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with various tasks as needed. Skills Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus but not required. Willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
