Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while working in a supportive educational setting. Two dedicated paraprofessionals are needed for a contract position near Winchester, NH, supporting students at both the high school and middle school levels throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment preferred Comfort and flexibility assisting with toileting and personal care Ability to support academic needs and adapt to various instructional settings Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with students with autism or those who are nonverbal is a plus

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

Middle School:

Serve as a 1:1 paraprofessional with an 8th-grade student who is autistic and nonverbal. Provide personal care and academic support, fostering engagement and promoting independence.

Hours:

8:30 AM3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (32.5 hours/week).

High School:

Work with a small group of students with IEPs who are part of the general education population. Provide both group and individualized support, collaborating with teachers and other staff.

Hours:

8:40 AM3:33 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (32.5 hours/week). Assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
