Full-Time Dishwasher Hills of Herat - Afghan Restaurant Martinsville, NJ Hills of Herat is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and dependable Full-Time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The dishwasher is an important part of our operation and is responsible for keeping dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment clean and available throughout service. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who can keep up in a busy restaurant environment. This is a full-time position scheduled Tuesday through Sunday during restaurant operating hours. Position Details Full-Time Tuesday-Sunday Must be available during restaurant operating hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is required Holiday availability is required Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized Maintain a steady supply of clean dishes throughout service Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and maintaining the kitchen Take out garbage and recycling as needed Sweep and clean kitchen floors and work areas Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Help the kitchen team as needed during busy service Qualifications Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable standing for extended periods Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Previous restaurant or dishwasher experience is preferred but not required Weekend & Holiday Availability Weekend and holiday availability is required. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are some of our busiest days, and we need someone who can consistently work these shifts. Applicants must also be available to work holidays when scheduled.
