This r ole is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth flow of food service operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting culinary and hospitality teams. Potential to be a flex cook and a barback. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed Support food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, workstations, and storage areas Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely service during busy periods Assist with catering events or banquet setups when required Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary support and food service operations
