Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook and Dishwasher, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless kitchen operation. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are sanitized and ready for service. Your enthusiasm and commitment to food safety will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following established recipes and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, blenders, ovens, and dishwashers safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, utensils, cookware, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Support the culinary team with meal assembly and plating as needed to ensure timely service Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to food safety management protocols Clear and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly after use to maintain an organized workspace Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic knowledge of food safety standards in production environments Experience with food handling, cleaning, and operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and slicers Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and recipe adherence is a plus Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Ability to follow safety standards in food production and maintain high levels of hygiene Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates This role is perfect for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in energetic settings.
