Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Clear and buss tables promptly, ensuring dining areas remain clean and inviting for guests Support the kitchen team by handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving kitchen items safely Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all food service areas in compliance with kitchen health and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper food handling and sanitation throughout all duties Qualifications Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and kitchen health standards Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation are advantageous Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety in fast-paced environments Experience with banquet or catering service is a plus but not mandatory Willingness to follow all food safety management protocols and contribute positively to team efforts Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes a difference!
