Duties Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through proper washing and sanitizing procedures Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support kitchen staff Support catering and banquet events by preparing food stations and ensuring timely setup and breakdown Ensure food handling safety standards are consistently followed to maintain hygiene and compliance with health regulations Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to facilitate efficient service flow Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and organizing storage areas Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service times Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Experience in food preparation or catering environments enhances your ability to excel in this role Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards is advantageous Prior banquet or hotel experience can provide valuable insight into high-volume food handling and service Basic knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen operations supports quick adaptation to the role Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for thriving in a fast-paced hospitality environment This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the culinary industry while contributing to a vibrant team.
