The Freakin Rican is looking for an energetic, dependable Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility team member to join our Astoria location. This is a steady position for someone who likes to stay active, takes pride in keeping a restaurant clean and organized, and understands that when one job is finished, there's always something else that can be done.

Responsibilities include:

Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment Keeping the dish station clean and organized Cleaning and maintaining stoves and cooking equipment Cleaning fryers as scheduled Sweeping and mopping floors Maintaining and cleaning the restroom Taking out garbage and maintaining waste areas Completing assigned weekly deep-cleaning duties Helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift Dishwashing is your primary responsibility, but you will also have cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the week. We're looking for someone with energy, urgency and a strong work ethic who can manage their responsibilities without needing to be constantly reminded of what needs to be done. What we're looking for: Dependable and punctual. Energetic and able to work at a good pace. Clean and organized. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Weekend availability is required.
