Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients under supervision Support the bussing of tables and clearing of dining areas to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction Follow food safety management protocols to ensure all items are handled hygienically and stored correctly Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and manual handling tools Maintain high standards of sanitation by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly Adhere to kitchen health and safety standards, including proper knife skills and heavy lifting techniques to prevent injuries Skills Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation practices in a restaurant environment Experience with food handling, food service operations, or kitchen experience preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads such as pots or boxes of supplies Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like dishwashers and prep stations Strong attention to detail in cleaning routines and food safety compliance Good communication skills for teamwork and supporting restaurant operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us in creating a vibrant dining experience by ensuring our kitchen remains spotless, safe, and ready for every service!
