As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This is a vital role in our food service operation, supporting our culinary team and helping the kitchen run efficiently. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dish area. Properly wash and sort soiled dishes and assist with food preparation as needed. Set up and maintain dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. Keep floors clean and dry throughout the shift. Properly wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers. Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels. Properly use and maintain chemical dilutions according to EcoLab guidelines. Assist with the timely storage of food deliveries. Maintain trash cans throughout the shift and remove full trash cans, boxes, and other waste at the end of each shift. Follow all posted daily dish-cleaning duties. Assist with food preparation and other duties as assigned by the Chef or management. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Must have dependable transportation to and from work for every scheduled shift. Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Ability to work well as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with a busy kitchen environment.
