Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing and cutting vegetables or preparing ingredients for cooking. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Participate in general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, and cleaning tasks. Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is essential.
