Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Ensure all food handling and cleaning tasks comply with food safety management standards and sanitation protocols Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support efficient food service operations Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and other cleaning machinery safely and effectively Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Support food preparation activities by organizing clean dishes and utensils for chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and storage spaces to uphold kitchen health and safety standards Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced environment Basic knife skills or experience in food handling is a plus but not mandatory Weekends a MUST Available Nights and Mornings Join our team today!
