Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Cleaner and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and food preparation areas, supporting our culinary team to operate smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will help maintain a safe, hygienic environment that meets all health standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting where your efforts directly contribute to guest satisfaction and overall restaurant excellence. Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual or machine methods while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure compliance with sanitation standards. Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during busy service times to support seamless food service operations. Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items such as large pots or crates of supplies to prevent injury. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers and other cleaning machinery. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for cooking or catering events. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards diligently, including proper food handling practices and sanitation protocols to uphold food safety management policies. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with kitchen operations such as dishwashing, cleaning routines, or catering is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety principles and sanitation procedures is highly valued. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting is essential. Prior experience working in restaurants, hotels, or banquet settings will help you excel in this role. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards are key qualities for success.
