Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, countertops, sinks, and storage spaces, adhering to sanitation standards Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and ensuring dining areas are clean and welcoming for guests Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper technique to prevent injury Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
