Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy and ready for guests Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure sanitation compliance Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while adhering to manual handling safety protocols Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and basic cleaning tools Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are properly cleaned and sanitized Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support overall kitchen operations Join us in creating an exceptional dining experience by ensuring our kitchen remains spotless, safe, and ready for every service!
