The Ranch Hudson Valley is a luxury wellness retreat dedicated to health, fitness, and mindful living. Our team provides an unparalleled guest experience in a serene, restorative environment. Our culinary philosophy celebrates seasonal, plant-forward, and locally sourced cuisine that nurtures both body and soul. We're seeking a Part-Time F&B Porter to join our culinary team. You'll prepare and plate seasonal, health-focused dishes, uphold food safety standards, and support smooth kitchen operations alongside our chefs. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Food & Beverage (F&B) Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our kitchens, and dining areas remain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, and is a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities Sanitation & Dishwashing:
Operate industrial dishwashers, scrub cookware, and ensure all utensils meet health and safety regulations.
Inventory & Stocking:
Receive and unpack F&B deliveries, and efficiently stock supply carts, beverage stations, and refrigerators.
Equipment Transport:
Safely move heavy equipment (e.g., food warmers, plate ware, glassware) between kitchens and banquet or dining spaces.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Sweep, mop, sanitize work surfaces, and take out garbage to keep cooking areas compliant with local health codes.
General Prep Support:
Assist the culinary team by washing, peeling, and chopping raw ingredients when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift, frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., transporting supplies and equipment up and down stairs, exposure to heat of cooking equipment, the cold of walk in coolers and refrigerators.
Certifications:
Current Food Handler's Permit or equivalent local health certification.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work long, fast-paced shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Equipment Handling:
Experience operating commercial cleaning machines (e.g., ride-on floor scrubbers, pallet jacks) is a plus.

Positive attitude with strong communication skills and a willingness to help colleagues.
