PM Compensation:
$16.25 an hour Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Dietary team. The Dishwasher plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment for residents and staff. This position is responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with general cleaning duties in the dietary department. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced team environment while supporting quality food service for our residents. Key Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen area Sweep and mop floors as needed to maintain sanitation standards Dispose of trash and recycling and replace liners Assist dietary staff with basic kitchen cleanup tasks Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures Report broken equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors Support the dietary team to ensure the kitchen remains clean and efficient during meal service Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in food service or dishwashing Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-40 pounds Work Environment Fast-paced kitchen environment Standing, bending, and lifting required Evening schedule (4 PM - 9 PM)
