Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety standards. Support food handling procedures ensuring all items meet food safety management protocols. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key! Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and kitchen health and safety regulations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique. Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment are a plus. Strong attention to detail in cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining hygiene standards.
