Employee Referral Program Minimum Qualifications:
Possesses, at a minimum, an 8th grade education. Is, at a minimum, sixteen (16) years of age. Is able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language and follow written/oral instructions. Possesses sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Able and willing to work independently with flexibility and integrity, as well as effectively and harmoniously with team members, residents, family members, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Is able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, hostile people within the community. Is willing to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Promotes resident safety. As a Dishwasher you can expect to: Ensures that all dishes, cooking utensils and other items from the kitchen and dining area are cleaned, stored in the appropriate locations, and ready to be utilized when needed. Sets up the team member breakroom with ice and condiments for coffee. Delivers meal carts and hot meal boxes to the units, as directed. Empties and cleans the dish machine between meals, making sure there is no food in the machine, including cleaning the outside of the machine. Breaks down boxes and takes out the trash to the dumpster. Sweeps and mops the kitchen floor. Assures that safety regulations are followed and reports any accidents, hazardous equipment, or conditions immediately. Performs stock room functions including checking stock to ensure all items are accounted for and undamaged; notifying the supervisor if there are damaged items that need to be returned; putting stock away in the appropriate place; and cleaning duties.
