Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff or management. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and returning dishes to the kitchen. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and properly stored after use. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in banquet or catering events as required, ensuring all dishware is handled efficiently. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the hospitality industry.
