Job Description
Dishwasher We are looking for a Dishwaser to join our team! Who are we? Foundry Social is the premier Northeast Ohio entertainment facility, and is located in the heart of Medina, Ohio. We serve guests and clients from Cleveland, Akron, Medina, and surrounding communities. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, during evenings or weekends. Ultimately, you'll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers. Duties and Responsibilities - The Fine Print Maintain a fun, safe atmosphere for guests. Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas. Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations. Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc. Unloading and storing deliveries. Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled. Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans. Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed. Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures. Stock inventory and supplies. Keep the dishwashing area clean and free of debris. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and other areas as needed. Maintains work areas, kitchen equipment and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with all safety and health codes. Understands and complies with County/State/Federal health codes to ensure health and safety of the guest. Follows a standard process for kitchen closing with proper cleaning techniques and guidelines. Follows that process daily. Practices good safety, security, and emergency practices throughout the property. Performs all other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience - No prior experience necessary, but previous experience in a similar role is considered a plus. Must possess a strong work ethic, be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or trays is required. Must be able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
