Evenings, nights, weekends — flexible scheduling available About the job Girves Brown Derby in Streetsboro is hiring dishwashers to join our back-of-house team. We've been serving wood-fired steaks and seafood in Northeast Ohio since 1941, and the dish crew is what keeps the whole kitchen moving. If you like staying busy, working with a team, and going home knowing you got it done, you'll fit right in. No experience needed. We'll train you. If you show up on time and work hard, we'll teach you the rest. What you'll do Run the dish machine and keep clean plates, glassware, and silverware flowing to the line and the dining room Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand Keep the dish area, floors, and trash areas clean and organized throughout the shift Help the kitchen team with basic prep and stocking when the dish pit is caught up Take out trash, break down boxes, and handle end-of-shift cleaning Follow food safety and sanitation standards What we're looking for A reliable person who shows up for their shifts on time Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen Team player attitude — everyone pitches in back here No prior restaurant experience required What we offer Full training — start with zero experience Flexible scheduling that works around school or a second job Employee meal discounts A steady schedule with consistent hours Opportunity to grow into prep and line cook positions How to apply Apply directly through Indeed, or stop in and ask for a manager.
