In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, assist with food preparation, and support the overall flow of food service operations. Your dedication will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared food items. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service during busy periods and special events. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols. Experience with bussing tables, cleaning, or supporting banquet events is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling standards and sanitation practices.
