Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energetic approach will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting our commitment to food safety and high-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational kitchen skills while contributing to a vibrant restaurant atmosphere. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness standards. Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies while adhering to proper manual handling techniques. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, sinks, and storage areas in compliance with kitchen health and safety standards. Support food handling procedures ensuring all items are stored properly and hygiene protocols are followed diligently. Experience Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Knowledge of operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or commercial sinks is a plus. Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and adhering to kitchen health standards. Experience with food preparation or basic knife skills can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
