Utility/Dishwasher - The Hill at Whitemarsh, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Lafayette Hill, PA is seeking upbeat, friendly, service oriented individuals to work part time as utility/dishwasher. Experience a definite plus, but willing to train those with a positive attitude and a sincere desire to work with Seniors. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities : Will be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and rotating holidays. Maintains a professional attitude and courteous demeanor at all times. Arrives to work on time and in proper uniform. Complies with all safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintains workstations and areas, keeping them clean and orderly. Ensures proper use of equipment and utensils and keeps them clean and well maintained. Rotates product correctly, so that the oldest product is used first, to minimize waste. Always properly wraps, labels and stores food. Operates dish machine; ensures all dishes are cleaned, organized, and stored appropriately Ensures that dishwasher is in proper working order; responsible for routine cleaning of equipment and refilling chemicals as needed. Tests and documents dish machine temperature and sanitize daily. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and food service areas, including sweeping and mopping floors and trash removal. Reports any kitchen or equipment repair or maintenance needed to the Dining Services Manager. Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled. Performs other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty.
