FULL-TIME DISHWASHER!
At Love & Honey Fried Chicken, we believe every role is essential to creating a fantastic experience for our guests, and that includes our dishwashers. Nothing leaves our kitchen without passing through your hands: every pan, every fry basket, every container, every sauce cup. We're looking for a reliable, hard-working team player who takes real pride in a clean kitchen and loves a fast-paced environment. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you! Who We Are We're a Philly-born, chef-founded fried chicken brand now growing across multiple states. Hand-dredged chicken, scratch-made sauces, and a whole lot of love in every order.
Our Core Focus is simple:
Love for Everyone We Serve. That means our guests, our teammates, our franchisees, our delivery drivers, and our neighbors. When people feel valued, respected, and cared for, they create better experiences for others. Our Core Values (and what they look like on a shift) Our Core Values aren't words on a wall. They're how we hire, how we coach, and how we decide who belongs on our team.
Accountability:
We own our actions, our results, and our mistakes. If the dish pit is backing up or the floor needs a mop, you don't wait to be asked. If something breaks or spills, you handle it or flag it.
Get Better Every Day:
Perfection isn't the goal. Progress is. You'll learn the dish machine, then the sinks and chemicals, then prep and receiving, then the fry station if you want it, and you'll keep finding faster, cleaner ways to do it.
Exceptional Human:
Skills can be taught. Character can't. We hire people who are kind, humble, respectful, and hardworking, and who treat every teammate with dignity, even at 8pm on a Friday.
Authenticity:
We're real with each other. Honest when the pit is behind, quick to ask when you don't know, and never cutting corners on sanitation, especially when no one is watching.
Achievement:
We take pride in our work and expect excellence. A spotless kitchen at close, clean baskets and pans always ready for the fry team, and a health inspection we're proud of. We don't settle for average because our guests deserve more than average. If these values sound like you, you'll probably thrive here. If they don't, that's okay too. We'd rather be clear about who we are. Clean Is the Standard Our guests judge our kitchen by what they see at the window, and everything they see starts in the back. For this role, clean isn't part of the job. It is the job. You keep the dish pit, the floors, the equipment, and the kitchen sanitized and organized all shift long, you follow our food safety and sanitation standards every single time, and you close the kitchen so it's ready for the next team before anyone goes home. If something is dirty, out of place, or doesn't look right, you take care of it or flag it to a manager. No one should have to ask. What You'll Do Dish Pit Load and unload the dish machine and wash large items by hand (cutting boards, pots, fry baskets, hotel pans), checking sanitizer strength and water temperature as trained Keep clean baskets, pans, and containers flowing to the fry team and the line, especially during the rush Store clean dishes and equipment in the right spot so the line never runs out, and keep the dish area organized Check that the dish machine is running right and report any issues to a manager right away Keep an eye on cleaning supplies (detergent, sanitizer, gloves) and let a manager know when it's time to reorder Kitchen Cleanliness & Sanitation Sweep and mop the kitchen and front of house as needed, empty trash and recycling regularly, break down boxes, and take out the trash Clean and sanitize equipment, racks, prep surfaces, walls, drains, and floor mats Handle deep-cleaning assignments from the weekly cleaning checklist Store cleaning chemicals safely, away from food, and follow all chemical safety instructions Full kitchen cleaning and reset with the closing team every night Chicken, Stock & Prep Open raw chicken and get it ready for brining, then pull chicken from the brine and set it up for the fry station, following our food safety standards for raw poultry every time Help put orders away and keep dry storage and the walk-in organized, labeled, and rotated first in, first out Light prep and knife skills Assist the fry station with back-fry as needed (training provided) Setting the Standard As we grow, new franchisee candidates train in our restaurant. You'll help show them how a Love & Honey kitchen stays clean, organized, and safe. The way you work every day sets the standard for future Love & Honey locations. At Love & Honey Fried Chicken, everyone does every job! Teamwork is at the heart of what we do.
Schedule Full-time:
