Job Description

Otto Downtown is a Japanese-concept restaurant and bar serving izakaya-style food, an extensive sake and beverage program, and craft cocktails. The dishwasher keeps the kitchen running—clean dishes, clean stations, and a smooth flow behind the scenes. We're looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and steady during a rush. What you'll do Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly Operate and maintain the dish machine; keep it stocked with detergent/sanitizer and running properly Keep the dish pit, sinks, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of clutter Sort, stack, and return clean items to their proper stations promptly to keep service moving Take out trash and break down boxes; help keep the kitchen and back-of-house sanitary Assist with basic prep, stocking, and cleaning tasks as needed Follow all food safety and sanitation standards What we're looking for Reliable and punctual—shows up on time, every shift Able to work quickly and stay steady during busy periods Team player who pitches in wherever needed No prior experience required—we'll train you Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced kitchen environment Physical requirements Stand and walk for the full shift Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to ~50 lbs Work around heat, water, steam, and cleaning chemicals Hands frequently in and out of water

•6:00 PM Consistent weekly schedule; must be available all three shifts Training & compensation Training is 6 shifts, fully paid Starting Pay is $15/hr

Free Employee Meal Pay:

From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
