Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere and have a passion for the hospitality industry. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic food handling tasks. Bus tables and assist in clearing dining areas to maintain a tidy restaurant environment. Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Follow health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation practices. Participate in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or banquet setting is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
