Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Dishwasher — a vital role that keeps our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently! Paid positions are available, and this is your chance to grow your skills in a fast-paced, high-volume food service setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items following established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pans, and food production machinery safely and efficiently Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic environment Support the culinary team with food handling, portioning, and plating to meet quality standards Assist with meal preparation for catering events or high-volume service periods while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Keep workstations organized, stocked, and sanitized throughout shifts to promote efficiency and safety Follow recipe adherence guidelines and support menu planning efforts when needed Qualifications Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, restaurant cook, or catering assistant is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various kitchen tools confidently Experience with food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment in high-volume production environments Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining speed in a fast-paced setting Prior dietary department experience or fine dining background is a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about culinary excellence and eager to develop your skills across all facets of kitchen operations.
