Job Summary:

Dishwasher will ensure that dishes for the front and back of the house are dean and sanitized, to include all china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Duties/Responsibilities:

• Washes all dishes including pots, pans, utensils, and glasses, by hand or using dishwasher according to PKK standards Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas and ensures all are dry Stocks seIVing stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils Takes garbage and trash to dwnpster area and ensures all trash cans are cleaned out at the end of the week or as needed and double bags trash to help prevent leaks Makes sure floor mats are sprayed down at the end of the day Wipes down refrigerator witl1 the appropriate rags Places all dirty rags in the lam1dry bag Washes work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand Assists in preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation Assists in busing tables as needed Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to understand and follow directions Basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and regulations for workplace safety Basic understanding of or ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff Detail-oriented and thorough Requires professionalism Must be able to work quickly and efficiently Must be able to work well as part of a team Must be able to work well under pressure Ability to come dressed in uniform and maintain personal cleanliness Good verbal commmucation

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma preferred but not required
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Food Handler Certificate required
• Dishwashing experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods walking or standing
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
• Must frequently immerse hands in water
• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work in a kitchen environment that may involve exposure to extreme heat or cold REMEMBER, come ready to work!
