Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient food service environment. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools using proper manual handling techniques. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient setup under supervision. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming. Follow all sanitation standards and health regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Handle heavy lifting of large pots, crates of supplies, and other kitchen equipment safely and responsibly. Maintain organization of dishware storage areas and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, manual handling, and heavy lifting. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and basic cleaning tools. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knife skills or experience with food handling is a plus but not mandatory.
