Job Description

As a Dishwasher with Marriott International in our Food & Beverage Operations team, you ensure clean, sanitized dishware and a safe, orderly kitchen that supports exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include operating commercial dish machines, hand-washing cookware, rotating and storing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dish areas in accordance with safety and food-handling standards. You'll collaborate with cooks and servers to keep service running smoothly. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently Manually wash, rinse, and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils as needed Sort, rack, and organize dishware, glassware, and flatware for quick turnover Maintain cleanliness of dish room, floors, trash areas, and related equipment Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper chemical use Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating kitchen equipment and supplies Communicate with cooks and servers to support smooth service flow Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors Required Skills Commercial dishwashing machine operation Manual pot and pan washing Basic food safety and hygiene Chemical handling and dilution Time management Organization and storage practices Safe lifting and material handling Basic equipment troubleshooting Sanitation and cleaning procedures Team communication
