Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting the overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will have some food service and kitchen experience, with a strong focus on sanitation, safety standards, and teamwork. Duties Responsible for dishwashing and ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health standards. Assist in bussing tables and clearing dishes during service to maintain a clean dining area. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and station setup. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal. Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Requirements Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety procedures. Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward assisting colleagues and guests. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
