Role:

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Dishwasher to join our team. In this essential role, you will keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring a constant supply of clean dishes, utensils, and equipment. This is a great entry-level opportunity with on-the-job training and the potential to grow into other kitchen positions.

Responsibilities:

Scrape, rinse, sort, load, and unload commercial dishwashing machines. Hand-wash pots, pans, delicate glassware, and items that cannot go through the machine. Sanitize kitchen tools, cutting boards, utensils, and work surfaces according to food safety standards. Store clean dishes, glassware, and equipment properly so stations stay stocked. Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of hazards (sweep, mop, wipe surfaces). Empty trash and recycling receptacles regularly. Assist with basic kitchen cleaning, side work, and light prep tasks as needed Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to stand for long periods (6-10 hour shifts) and work in a fast-paced, hot, humid environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs repeatedly and perform bending, reaching, and stooping. Willingness to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain high cleanliness standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Positive attitude and willingness to learn Preferred (but not required): High school diploma or GED. Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food service experience. Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift 25-50 pounds repeatedly, work in a hot/wet environment, and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
