Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our busy kitchen and food service environment. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your dedication to cleanliness and efficiency will help create a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members alike. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and floors, ensuring a hygienic workspace at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in their daily operations. Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services to meet event schedules. Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen organized and environmentally responsible. Follow proper food handling protocols and safety procedures to prevent contamination or accidents. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow during busy service hours. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, catering service, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued. Familiarity with basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards is advantageous. Experience with food handling or culinary environments such as banquet or hospitality settings enhances your ability to excel in this role. Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential. Prior kitchen experience involving bussing or assisting with food preparation can be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
