Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Steward/Dishwasher, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe food service environment. Your dedication ensures that culinary operations, catering events, and restaurant services operate seamlessly, providing guests with an exceptional experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary and hospitality skills while contributing to a vibrant team. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or plating ingredients under supervision. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours to ensure a smooth flow of food service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed to support chefs and kitchen staff. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations such as dishwashing, cleaning, or basic food prep is advantageous. Experience working in banquet or catering settings can be a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices is beneficial. Prior hospitality or hotel experience is a valuable asset but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key.
