Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen while supporting the food service team. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant or hotel operations. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to streamline service during busy periods. Support kitchen staff by keeping the kitchen organized and stocked with clean dishes and utensils. Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors as required. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in achieving common goals.
