Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing machines for dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools according to sanitation standards. Ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned thoroughly and stored properly for use. Assist with cleaning floors and surfaces regularly to uphold sanitation protocols. Support food handling by assisting with basic food prep tasks when needed under supervision. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury. Experience Previous experience in dishwashing or general kitchen support roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous. Experience working in restaurants, hotels, catering events, or banquet settings can be beneficial. Basic knowledge of operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or cleaning tools is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing throughout shifts.
