Duties Help Set up glasses, silverware, butter, condiments, salads, desserts, bread and cold beverages on serving counter as instructed. Removes soiled dishes from tables and transports them to the dishwasher. Cuts, scrapes, chops, dices and peels fruits and vegetables. May opere electric can opener, electric poto peeler, etc. Pre-rinses dishes with wer to remove food particles before washing. Loads dishes in the dishwasher, stacks and stores dishes. Qualificions A qualified candide possesses the following: Understanding of basic food handling techniques Ability to follow oral directions and routine manual tasks involving a few steps Must have understanding of personal hygiene standards such as wearing a hairnet and washing hands before touching food and not touching rims of cups/glasses Ability to read and understand written instructions and merial such as schedules, menus, and recipes Must have the ability to work safely by moving carts without running into things, stacking dishes without mishaps, and wiping up spilled foods and liquids to prevent falls Knowledge of basic arithmetic may be necessary Educion H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Additional informion Successful completion of Nional Agency Check (NACI) background check with written inquiries is required. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certifice. Must be able to use simple kitchen equipment and use common utensils. Must be able to opere a cash register.
