Job Description

Overview Assist in preparation and clean up of congregate and home delivered meals. Responsibilities (Duties that make up regular assignment; may include others) Follow all direction given by Site Manager Disposal of food waste including taking out all trash cans and replacing bags each day Continually wash dishes throughout shift Clean large equipment as needed After cleaning, place clean items (pans, dishes, etc.) in appropriate locations Disposal of boxes: cut down boxes for recycle Clean kitchen and equipment at the end of each shift Sweeping and mopping floors each day Place dirty rags in washing machine and start before leaving Convey need for any items to be ordered Maintain record of hours worked18 Attend meetings and training sessions when required Develop an atmosphere of positivity among clients, volunteers and staff Work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other kitchen staff Other duties as assigned
Mobility/ Lifting:
50 lbs. from floor to counter, ability to stand for extended periods of time
Equipment Operation:
- Dishwasher, Packaging Machine, Ovens, Can Opener, Convection Steamer, etc.
Other Requirements:
State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Workers .
Pay:
$18.00 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
